Basma Elsayed Selim is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the economics Department, Faculty of Political Science, Economics, and Business Administration - May University in Cairo. She has been an Assistant Lecturer and a Teacher Assistant at ElShrouk academy since 2017. She graduated from the Faculty of commerce English section Zagazig University in 2012, and obtained her Master’s in Economics from the same faculty in 2022. The topic of her master's was about the impact of exchange rate volatility on economic growth in Egypt . Her is currently working on her Ph.D., at Bnha University. Her fields of interests are monatery and fiscal policies, especially that targeting poverty and exchange rate volatility. Basma’s teaching experience includes Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Money and Banking.
