Prof. Hala Ezz-Eldin

Prof. Dr. Hala M. Ezz EL Deen Hamed is a Physical Therapy Professor since 2008. Dr. Ezz EL Deen received her BSc., MSc. and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Cairo University. Her research focuses on Cardiopulmonary Re-habitation, in particular those with chronic respiratory disorders & the field of scientific research for elderly subjects. She is greatly experienced as a reviewer for many international & national journals in Physical Therapy such as “Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation”, “journal of Acupuncture & Meridian Studies”, International Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries”, Journal of Lasers in Medical Sciences” & “Journal of Advanced Research (JARE), Elsevier” [International Journals].
She was awarded at 2010 & 2011 for her contribution in the graduation of the first two classes of Assistant Care Givers for Handicap Children in KSA in association with Fatat AL Khaleej Charity Association held under the patronage of H.H. Princess Jawaher Bent Naif Bent Abdel Aziz of the Eastern Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
At 2012 was awarded by Vice President of Academic Affairs’ at King Faisal University (currently known as Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University), KSA, for initiating and successfully graduating female students section of Physical Therapy department at King Faisal University.
Upon her return back to Faculty of Physical Therapy at Cairo University on 2012, she was appointed as the Head of Cardiovascular / Respiratory Disorder & Geriatrics Department where she collaborated with other departments to achieve accreditation from National Authority for Quality Assurance & Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). Later at 2017, the same team achieved the international accreditation of the WCPT (World Confederation for Physical Therapy).
She was a member in the Physical Therapy committee at the Supreme Council of Universities since 2015-2019. Also since 2017 she was a member in the First Scientific Board of Physical Therapy Fellowship Degree at the Ministry of Health. Before she founded and becoming the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Heliopolis University for sustainable Development from 2018-2019, she was the Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University from 2016-2018. Later, from 2019-2022 she was initiating and structured the faculty program objectives and bylaw and becoming the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Sinai University.
Currently, she is the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at May University in Cairo after she was again founded and constructing the study Bylaw as well as participated in layout plaining of the faculty building & the necessary equipment.
