Mahmoud Younes. Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Military Technical College and P.HD. from Manchester University / England / UK. He served as Chair of Engineering Mechanics Department in Military Technical College from 2007-2013. He has experience teaching undergraduate courses at several private universities and has been expanded to the position of Head of the Basic Sciences Department. He published in refereed international journals and conferences, managed and participated in the reviewing process of “Solid Mechanics” sessions in several international conferences. He participates in supervising many postgraduate academic activities, his research areas are focused on Impact Damage of Shell Structures, Penetration Mechanics of Shells using Finite Element ABAQUS code.

He was awarded the First Class Medal of Honour while serving in the Egyptian Armed Forces.
